Derek Preece is a senior consultant with BSM Consulting and is based in Orem, Utah. Mr. Preece consults with medical practices in the areas of strategic planning, cost containment, marketing, new business opportunities, referral networking, management techniques, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, physician relations and compensation, team building, financial controls, patient satisfaction, and employee motivation. Mr. Preece has provided services to most medical specialists, including ophthalmologists. His work encompasses private medical practices and academic sites.
Mr. Preece is a frequent speaker at national and state medical conferences as well as an active author. His writings include articles on human resources, management techniques, strategic planning, and financial management. Mr. Preece is a frequent presenter at the AAOE program of Academy Annual Meeting. |
